We decided Wed to take the kids to Disneyland on Friday. Once again, we decided not to tell them but to let them figure it out on the way. My prediction was that they would figure it out somewhere around the CA border. And sure enough about 10 mins past the CA check point and many hints Payton asked if we were going to Disneyland.
We have never been to Disneyland so early in the year, so it has been a bit colder than we are use to. And Friday night it was pouring rain. We (and by we I mean the kids) opted not to go to the park Friday when we arrived but instead to get their extra day in on Monday.
So yesterday, our first day in the park was great. We made this weekend about just being together and we have had a ton of fun. Payton and I must have walked for 11 hours. And Payton and I were the only two people who returned to the park after dinner. It was so cold the first thing we did was buy sweatshirts. Once I had my big sweatshirt on, Payton said I looked strange "like one of those ordinary moms." I think I will take that as a compliment.
Today we hit California Disney and Gary's parents arrive in about an hour (they haven't been here in 20 plus years). To see pics go to my facebook.

4th Annual Cobine Family Christmas Party
Invites for the Party go out this week! Party will be December 18th at 6pm. Adults and children are invited and dinner will be served. Kids will be served first (as always). This year's dinner theme is "Traditional Southern Christmas" So expect ham, turkey, and mac and cheese for dinner.
Children will be able to play downstairs and will be supervised as always. The kids will be able to play and watch holiday movies and we will make sure they are good and sugared up before you take them home.
The adults will be playing White Elephant (gift exchange). You can bring a gift per person or per couple (your choice). Please keep the gift to under $10. Being a "Dirty Santa" (bringing a used gift) is always acceptable as is re-gifting. In fact I think we may see some gifts from last years party.
Wear party clothes or your ugliest holiday sweater. This is not a pot luck, all food and beverages will be provided by Gary and I. We really do love to cook for all of our friends. And to accommodate all of you this year we are moving the upstairs furnishings out, to bring in more tables and chairs.
Party is at our house
2071 N Cascade Canyon
Call 652.4498 to RSVP
Please RSVP either via Facebook or phone by the 17th.
You can also text me at 360.609.4983 or text Gary at 503.860.4050

Time on the Eyer Farm - Sequim Washington
We are here in Sequim, Wa for day two of our trip to the Olympic Peninsula. We have been having a great time. Payton and Hadley stayed the night with the Eyre's and the boys have been playing non-stop. Cam and Hadley are like PB&J again. Payton went crabbing with Gary and Jonah this am and he is now riding the 4wheeler. Uma and Fox have been playing "My Little Pony" with Elsie. And they all just got to see the piglets born yesterday. Fun Fun days.
